A Facility Security Assessment (FSA) is an in-depth analysis used to determine security measures needed to protect Department personnel, property, and information with the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) Risk Management Process (RMP) standards.

Department facilities and facilities that have Department security delegations are subject to FSAs. OSY assessors are trained and certified in the ISC RMP. All FSAs at facilities falling under General Services Administration ownership or lease are conducted by the Federal Protective Service.
