The Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF), developed by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for all Federal agencies, allows employees to access their individual files through a secure Internet connection. To ensure optimal protection of your eOPF data, users must access the system either with a PC that has a registered DOC IP address or through a registered DOC Virtual Private Network (VPN).

Some of the benefits of eOPF include:

• You can monitor your own records for accuracy;
• You can print documents that you need;
• Access to your eOPF is limited to authorized personnel, (i.e., you and HR, resulting in continued security and protection of your privacy); and
• Your eOPF is more secure than a paper file.
