Overview

The Office of Human Resources Management (OHRM) implements Government-wide and Departmental policies, employee programs, and activities in all aspects of human resources management and administration.

Within the Department of Commerce (DOC), OHRM is located in the Office of the Secretary, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Administration.

Human Capital Strategy

OHRM developed the DOC Human Capital Strategic Plan 2023-2026 with overarching goals and objectives to ensure mission success by establishing a clear direction for priority investments and initiatives that best serve an evolving workforce.
