Housekeeping Services

Housekeeping Services

The custodial staff provides daily cleaning services to the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB) including disinfecting, cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Housekeeping Service Requests: Requests for housekeeping services, including large trash bins, can made using the OFEQ Self-Service Portal (use the Service Request radio button), or by e-mailing [email protected] or by calling 202-482-5406. Please note that carpet shampooing is available for an extra charge paid for by the operating unit. To request a quote for carpet shampooing services please contact the custodial team.

COVID-19 Response: Custodial staff are onsite 16 hours a day cleaning communal spaces, including business centers, pantries, stairwells, conference rooms, restrooms, and elevators with COVID-19 effective disinfectant. Face masks and hand sanitizer are available at each of HCHB’s entrances. HCHB tenants can request disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer from [email protected].

Cases of COVID-19 within HCHB should be reported to [email protected]. You will receive guidance on isolation, quarantine and close-contact notifications. Custodial staff will be dispatched to disinfect the effected space for cases that occurred within 24 hours of reporting.
