Office of Public Affairs

The Office of Public Affairs (OPA) coordinates communication efforts within the Department to promote its public policy goals and enhance public understanding of its work. 

OPA advances the Department’s mission and objectives by managing a unified approach to internal and external public information. This coordination includes producing and reviewing public information materials for quality and consistency, providing and supporting public affairs services for Department officials, and advising bureaus and offices on public information regarding their activities.
