Formal Coaching Support

Have you formally submitted a project to The LAB for coaching or consultation? Or perhaps you are considering and wondering what the process workflow looks like. You may have already emailed [email protected] or submitted the MS Form for coaching services. 

The workflow below walks you through each step in our general coaching framework. Each Integrated Project Team (IPT) receives tailored guidance, unique to their requirement and overall experience of the IPT in implementing the envisioned approach, from initial submission to award of the contract or agreement. 

The LAB will invite the Bureau Innovation Advocate (BIA) from the respective Contracting Organization to all engagements as well. 

The IPT remains in control of their decisions throughout the entirety of the engagement. The LAB will not make any decisions on behalf of the team, will not require its comments to be adjudicated in any way, nor will The LAB seek to expose any missteps of the team throughout the process. The LAB will share best practices, proven methodologies, and will ensure the team considers and is aware of any risks, as well as the proven mitigation of those risks. The LAB embeds itself with the IPT and acts as a mission enabler, providing a customer service centric experience to the IPT while educating the IPT so they can repeat the successful processes implemented during the engagement.
