Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships Hosted the National Chambers of Commerce Leaders Roundtable

On April 4, 2023, the Department of Commerce Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships hosted a roundtable with National Chambers of Commerce leaders to streamline access to resources by unlocking whole of Commerce pathways to economic growth, entrepreneurship, and job creation. The conversation addressed critical opportunities on issues ranging from workforce development to access to data and innovation.

Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves and Acting Under Secretary Eric Morrissette from the Minority Business Development Agency provided remarks. Breakout sessions focused on business development, banking, acquisitions, innovation, climate resilience, and entrepreneurship.

Representatives from several Commerce bureaus and offices participated, as did delegates from the White House, the Department of Treasury, the Small Business Administration, the Consumer Financial Protection Board, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
