Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the initiation of new antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations to determine whether certain steel wheels 12 to 16.5 inches in diameter from China are being dumped in the United States and to determine if producers in China are receiving unfair subsidies.

Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased 4.2 percent in the second quarter of 2018, according to the “second” estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The growth rate was 0.1 percentage point more than the “advance” estimate released in July. In the first quarter, real GDP increased 2.2 percent.

Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the affirmative preliminary determinations in the countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of imports of glycine from China and India, and the negative preliminary determination in the CVD investigation of imports of glycine from Thailand.
