Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Investment Affairs Luhut Pandjaitan. During their meeting, the Secretary thanked the Coordinating Minister for his government’s strong support for the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), including hosting the previous negotiating round in Bali. The two also discussed their shared goals and objectives leading up to the next round of IPEF negotiations, which will take place in Singapore next month. Additionally, the Secretary and Coordinating Minister also discussed opportunities for increased bilateral economic cooperation.
