WASHINGTON – Today, Secretary Gina Raimondo met with French Minister of Economy, Finance and Recovery Bruno Le Maire to discuss the strong, longstanding U.S.-France commercial partnership and to follow up on goals and outcomes from the 1^st U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) ministerial, held September 29, 2021, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Secretary Raimondo and Minister Le Maire also discussed particular TTC commitments, including semiconductor supply chain resiliency efforts, investment screening, export controls, as well as how we can work together both bilaterally and via the TTC to advance commercial ties.  The meeting also included discussion of France’s priorities for its upcoming Presidency of the EU Council, with Commerce stressing continued engagement on digital issues.
