Session 2: Creating Safe Environments

The focus for April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM), is Creating Safe Environments: Phase One of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention.

Meeting Details

Where: Virtual, Microsoft Teams Meeting

When: Thursday, April 11th, 2024, 12:00-1:00 pm

Join Erinn Izykowski, Director of the Office of Sexual Assault/Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response (SASH-PR), for April’s lunch-and-learn on how to create and sustain safe workspaces free of harmful behaviors. Employees and leaders will learn actionable takeaways to keep our workspaces safe, how to intervene safely if harmful behaviors are present, and what reporting options are available.

The Director, SASH-PR, will also be discussing the Department’s first phase of the SAAPM 2024-2026 campaign, “Create, Empower, Prevent.” Phase 1 Creating Safe Environments focuses on increasing awareness for employees on how to create positive, healthy, and safe environments; and bring awareness to the programs the Department has available to support safe and welcoming environments.

For questions about SAAPM, or if you would like more information, contact the SASH PR at [email protected]. To request reasonable accommodations, including sign language interpreting, please contact the Office of Civil Rights at [email protected]
