Kardesha N. Bradley

Assistant General Counsel for Transactions and Program Management

Kardesha Bradley has been with the Department of Commerce Office of the General Counsel since November 2009, and is currently the Assistant General Counsel for Transactions and Technology where she manages more than 30 attorneys in the provision of legal advice relating to grants, cooperative agreements, procurement and non-procurement transactions, fiscal matters, real property interests, environmental policy and guidance, and all other matters under the purview of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Chief Financial Officer.  Prior to assuming her current position in 2023, Ms. Bradley was a Supervisory Attorney in the Office of the General Counsel Employment and Labor Law Division for 13 years, planning and overseeing the work of a team of attorneys in the litigation of employment-related Federal court and administrative cases and serving as senior legal advisor to the U.S. Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Affairs in the implementation of high profile and mission-critical Department objectives, including the Decennial Census and Current Population Survey.

Ms. Bradley obtained her J.D. degree from American University Washington College of Law and an Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampton University.
