Today, Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves met with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. During the meeting, Deputy Secretary Graves reaffirmed the U.S. Government’s continued support for Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia’s aggression. The two also discussed Ukraine’s ongoing plans for reconstruction and reform across energy, transport, agriculture, digital, and decarbonization, as well as its urgent need for financing and risk insurance. Deputy Secretary Graves emphasized the Department’s continued engagement with the U.S. private sector in these priority areas.
