Commerce Research Library

The Commerce Research Library is located in the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB) in Washington, DC. We provide access to databases, books, training opportunities, and presentations that support the ongoing work of Department employees. The historic Reading Room is a beautiful and welcoming physical space available for quiet work and events. While mainly serving HCHB, we provide all Commerce staff with select database and training resources. The library is part of the Office of General Counsel and reports to OGC’s Chief Administrative Officer.

Hours of Operation 

Library staff are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The general public are admitted by appointment only.
