Revocation of Department Administrative Order (DAO) 208-10, "Management of Contracted Services," dated January 1, 1995.

STATEMENT OF THE ISSUE

The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), in Part 37, provides the governing principles and regulations on the management of contracted services most applicable to the Department of Commerce acquisition community. In addition, the Commerce Acquisition Manual comprehensively implements within the Department current FAR and Office of Federal Procurement Policy requirements relative to the management of contracted services. Therefore, there is no longer a need to maintain published policy specific to "Management of Contracted Services" in a DAO.
