Big "A" Acquisition Conference

VIRTUAL EVENT

The Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) is hosting its 10th Annual Big “A” Conference.  The theme of this year’s event is “Aligning & Integrating Skills with Evolving Mission Needs.” This event brings together Commerce professionals from the Procurement, Financial Assistance, Program Management, and Risk Management communities that play a key role in executing mission objectives and providing oversight of processes that control cost and quality.  Sessions will focus on topics such as procurement operations, program management, risk management, and financial assistance.

When:   May 18-19 2021; 8:00am - 4:00pm Daily

                May 17- Special focused training (COR Refresher, SB Workshops, GSA Training and OCIO S/W License Management Training)

Conference Registration Guidance

You must have an OMB MAX account to register. You can establish an account by going to MAX.gov and click the register now box at the top right of the page. Once the account is established, please follow the steps below.  

  1. Log on to https://community.max.gov/x/UqJwe. This will automatically take you to the 2021 Big “A” Conference webpage.
  2. Click on “Register Here” and select from the drop down menu.  Click on the day (s) you plan to attend and register.
  3. Click RSVP.  Your name, email, and phone number will automatically populate.  Please type your Bureau (OS, NIST, NOAA, PTO, CENSUS, etc.) and Community (Procurement, Financial Assistance, Program Management, Risk Management, COR, etc.); these are mandatory fields where applicable.
  4. New This Year: You have the option to sign up for the afternoon breakout sessions. Please note, the agenda will be notional and subject to change up to 2 weeks prior to the conference.
