PURPOSE

Revocation of Department Administrative Order (DAO) 202-334, “Details,” dated June 22, 1971.

STATEMENT OF THE ISSUE

DAO-202-334 contains outdated references and is no longer a useful resource to understand the details process and associated legal issues.  The Department’s comprehensive Human Resources Bulletin (HRB) on this subject provides up-to-date procedures and legal definitions.  As this process is subject to frequent changes, an HRB that can be updated as needed and is more reflective of current human resources practices provides a better venue for this information.

Therefore, DAO 202-334 should be revoked.
