U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker today issued a statement to commemorate Labor Day.

With the creation of more than 7.3 million new jobs in the last 41 months, we must continue to ensure that every American is provided the opportunity to secure a good job. Workforce development is crucial to driving our economic recovery and retaining America's innovative and competitive edge in the 21st century.
