Jennifer Andberg is Deputy Director of the Office of Business Liaison at the Department of Commerce. In this position, she manages the department’s efforts to engage the business community on the Administration’s top policy priorities. The Office of Business Liaison promotes policies that help American businesses and entrepreneurs and works to strengthen the international economic position of the United States through advocacy.
In her role in the Office of Business Liaison, Ms. Andberg has managed over 40 international business development missions to 30+ countries, supporting the Secretary and over 1000 CEOs throughout U.S. and to Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Additionally, she has served as the Department of Commerce lead for planning large U.S. government stakeholder engagement initiatives such as the U.S.-Africa Business Forum and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
Ms. Andberg joined the Commerce Department in 1992. Prior to working the Office of Business Liaison, she worked in the International Trade Administration’s Commercial Service as the Budget and Resource Manager and as a Program Analyst in the Office of Strategic Planning.
Ms. Andberg holds a master's degree in International Economic Policy from American University and a bachelor's degree from the Skidmore College.
