Washington, D.C. - U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez and Federal Coordinator for Gulf Coast Rebuilding Donald Powell will brief U.S. businesses on Gulf Coast investment opportunities in Washington, DC on Tuesday, June 27, 2006. The briefing is a follow-up to the Gulf Coast Business Investment mission in Louisiana and Mississippi Gutierrez and Powell led May 4-5 in an effort to rebuild the Gulf Coast by attracting business investment and urging companies to consider commercial opportunities in the region.
