Alternating Between Full and Part Time

If you change from a full-time to a part-time position, or vice versa, during a biweekly pay period without a break in service, you accrue leave based on the number of hours as a part-time employee and application of the pro rata leave table for the number of days worked as a full-time employee.

Similarly, if you are on a mixed tour and change from a full-time or part-time to an intermittent position, or vice versa, during a biweekly pay period without a break in service, you’ll accrue leave based on either the number of hours as a part-time employee or the pro rata leave accrual table for the number of days worked as a full-time employee.

Any unapplied hours remaining to the credit of a part-time employee moving to a full-time or intermittent position are forfeited.
