“As the 12th anniversary of the attacks of September 11 approaches, it is important to remember those we lost on that terrible day. As we continue to heal from that tragedy, we must hold tight to the values that make America great while always working to make our nation stronger. I also encourage everyone to take time to thank the people who keep our communities and our country safe, including our military and first responders. We owe them a debt of gratitude for their commitment and sacrifice.”
