"I commend the Senate, as well as Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy and Ranking Member Chuck Grassley, for their leadership in securing bipartisan passage of The America Invents Act, and I urge swift action in the House so that long-awaited patent reform legislation can become law.  The ingenuity of the American people has the power to accelerate our economic recovery, and we cannot hold America's innovators and job creators back for one more day. It’s time for our outdated patent system to be brought into the 21st century."
