This morning, Secretary Locke appeared on CNBC to answer questions about the recent Presidential trip to India, Indonesia, Korea and Japan and how trade can create jobs in America.

At a time when the contribution of exports to America's economic recovery is clear why has the Fiscal Commission suggested the dismantlement of the government's primary export promotion agency - the US Commercial Service? Isn't that a fundamental threat to the National Export Initiative?
