Best Chance to Reform Our Broken Immigration System Says White House

Washington (June 27)—The White House today released a fact sheet on the bipartisan border security and immigration reform bill that highlights the national security and economic benefits of the legislation. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez recently said “Now is our best chance to solve this critical issue. Doing nothing is not an option. The system we currently have is broken, and we need to fix this problem now.” (Fact Sheet)
